Job ID: MJ000379About TravelokaTraveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region. We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that.About the TeamWe are the commercial engine behind Traveloka's accommodation business — and our patch is the independent hotels that give every Southeast Asian destination its character. From a boutique stay in Bali to a family-run inn in Da Nang, you sign the properties, shape the pricing, and make sure travellers find them at the right price, every time. This is a market built region by region, owner by owner, not from a Western playbook handed down. You will own real partner relationships, negotiate the deals, and watch your destination climb in supply, competitiveness, and conversion. You think like an operator and a dealmaker, you read a market fast, and you turn a single hotel conversation into measurable growth. If you want a commercial role where your decisions show up in what millions of travellers can book, this is it.About the JobAs a Market Manager, you own the commercial strategy for the highest-stakes hotel destinations in your country — and you deliver it through your own expertise, not a team. You are the person leadership trusts with the markets that matter most.Develop and implement the operational plan for a set of flagship destinations — the priorities, the supply targets, the competitiveness moves — with direct impact on the wider domain's results.Personally own the most strategic and complex hotel partnerships, negotiating multi-quarter commitments, exclusives and structural deals.Design the competitiveness and growth approach for your destinations — pricing, content, ranking, availability — and improve the playbooks others rely on.Tackle problems that span operational, financial and partner dimensions at once, where the right answer is rarely obvious.Act as the go-to expert on your markets, shaping the country plan and steering peers without managing them.Partner with pricing, product, supply ops and marketing to unlock destination-level growth and strengthen the flight-to-accommodation cross-sell bridge.Turn deep market insight into the defensible recommendations leadership uses to place its bets.Job RequirementsYou have at least 4-7 years in hotel commercial or OTA market management, owning flagship or strategically critical destinations. You develop and implement operational plans for high-value destinations that move the domain's overall numbers, working as an individual contributor. You own the most complex, high-stakes deals personally and deliver them end to end.You handle problems that cut across operational, financial and partner dimensions at the same time. You design and improve competitiveness playbooks rather than running a single patch by hand. You influence the country plan and steer other managers through expertise and credibility, not line authority. You partner with and persuade pricing, product and ops to clear the path for your markets. You are deeply data-driven and use analytics and AI tools as core levers of how you work. You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong, advanced commercial track record. You communicate, negotiate and influence fluently in English and your market's local language. You have authored playbooks or pricing approaches that scaled beyond your own patch. You bring deep senior relationships across hotel groups and major independents in Southeast Asia.Join UsIf you have read this far and felt something click — the problem, the scale, the moment — we would like to hear from you.We review every application.
