About this role
ABOUT AIRWALLEX
Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,700 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles https://www.airwallex.com/en-us/operating-principles to see it in full.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll lead product marketing for the products developers use to build on Airwallex: the APIs, the sandbox, the docs, and AgentOS, including its MCP servers, CLI, and skills. Your audiences are developers, technical founders, builders who use AI coding tools, and the technology partners that integrate with Airwallex.
This is a senior individual contributor role. You'll combine positioning and launch work with enough technical ability to test the product yourself. Most of your time goes to deciding what we say about each product and to whom, planning launches around that message, and checking sandbox and production usage to see whether developers get from reading about Airwallex to a first API call and then to production.
You'll work with the partner integrations, developer content, and developer partnerships roles, the DevX product team, and the technical writers who own the API reference and product documentation. You own the message and the launch plans, both the strategy and the execution, and you rely on those teams for the integrations, documentation, and case studies rather than producing them yourself. You'll also work with Marketing and Communications on channels and timing.
