About this role
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Partner Development Manager (PDM) to join our Partners & Alliances team in Japan. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling strategic relationships with Systems Integrators (SIs) and Consulting partners to accelerate Snowflake's growth in the Japanese market. You will work cross-functionally with field sales, marketing, and partner engineering to drive joint pipeline, co-sell motions, and partner-led customer success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own and develop strategic relationships with assigned SI and Consulting partners.
- Build and execute Joint Business Plans with measurable pipeline and bookings targets.
- Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline in collaboration with field sales (AEs and SEs).
- Enable partners to build Snowflake practices—driving certifications, training, and technical readiness
- Increase partner-attached opportunities across new and expansion accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing on joint demand-generation campaigns and events.
- Track and report on partner KPIs including pipeline contribution, bookings influence, certifications, and practice growth.
